Kawaguchiko - Mount Fuji

Very near to Tokyo lies the beautiful Mount Fuji, an enblem of Japan. We hit the road and take the bus to Kawaguchiko, which lies at the foot of Mount Fuji.

Here we are on the way to our Airbnb-room...

This time we have a real traditional Japanese room, very cozy :-)

There are many lakes in the area and it feels a bit like at home in Switzerland :-)

And here it is, the famous Mount Fuji...

Many people come to climb Mount Fuji. We opt to hike around the area to always have Mount Fuji in the corner of the eye :-) And guess what, it seems there are bears living in the forests of Japan! No, we did not see one...
